| POISE ON THE MOUNTAIN: PA GOMO |
The newest, and one of the finest works of architectural art at Gray Head has recently been unveiled and is now one of Steve Catsman’s premiere properties. Pa Gomo, translated from the southern African dialect of Chyanga as “on the mountain,” is located in the distinguished residential development west of Telluride and blends together as much of the natural world as it does inner domestic luxury.

|
Pa Gomo’s organic design compliments its mountaintop surroundings. Multiple stone terraces, both covered and uncovered, offer views of the San Sophia Ridge to the north, the Wilson Range to the south, Telluride views to the east and rolling mesa vistas to the west. Inside stone forms compliment curved mahogany wood design. Custom steel and Douglas fir trusses and beams frame the Venetian plaster walls and spacious windows.
All spaces of Pa Gomo are great but the great room is unmatched. Large vanishing doors link the indoors to the outdoors where a covered stone patio offers unrivaled mountain views. Hickory flooring throughout the home is designed in broad planks.
Pa Gomo is a five-bedroom residence where no luxuries were spared. A media room, wine bar, workout room, full outdoor kitchen, wine cellar and breakfast garden are a few of Pa Gomo’s amenities. Connecting floors are a cantilevered steel staircase linked by hickory treads and a custom-built glass staircase. Copper cladding covers both the roof and garage doors lending Pa Gomo an elegant earthy feel. And wood-burning double-sided hearths are also highlighted with copper and stone.
Pa Gomo is one of the most unique homes in the region and boasts seclusion and privacy while just a short drive from the town of Telluride. Pa Gomo’s location within Gray Head allows homeowners access to 900 acres of wilderness preserve that is surrounded by 13,000-foot peaks and National Forest. Gray Head offers numerous amenities including more than 16 miles of private trails for biking, hiking and cross country skiing, tennis courts, an equestrian facility, a fly-fishing and ice skating pond, and an on-site foreman. Pa Gomo’s stone paths all lead to private trails.
Gray Head homeowners are also welcome to all of the amenities of Element 52, the opulent slope side townhome development in downtown Telluride.

Element 52 is staged for completion from winter 2010 through summer 2011 and is on schedule.
Element 52 is one of the town of Telluride’s most unique residences in form and function. Structurally alluring, Element 52 is a collection of slope side townhomes built of the highest end finishes and boasting a quaint collected feel. Recently, construction of Element 52’s funicular began and, when complete, it will deliver homeowners conveniently to the Telluride Ski Resort via a private lift. Other unique amenities include a fitness center, spa, outdoor stone pools, year-round resident concierge and membership to Gray Head wilderness.
Pre-sales of Element 52’s residences were an immense success. Half of the 34 units are already sold and went under contract even before construction began. Element 52 is a truly unique realty investment.

| MOUNTAINFILM HOSTS ANOTHER ROUND OF GLOBAL CONVERSATION |
Last year Mountainfilm in Telluride focused its theme on one vital resource, water. This year’s theme is focused on another fragile essential — food. The festival weekend opens traditionally with the Moving Mountains Symposium with conversations on the festival theme, and this year with keynote speaker Bill McKibben, an environmental writer, scholar and activist.

Mountainfilm hosts a weekend of moving documentary films and their makers
|
Following the opening symposium are of course, films, including a handful of world premieres. Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns presents “The National Parks: America's Best Idea,” a series of films about integral individuals who helped to preserve America’s sacred outdoor spaces. Other premieres include: “Samsara,” a climbing film set in India’s Vindhya Mountains starring and directed by Conrad Anker, Jimmy Chin and Renan Ozturk; “The Farm: 10 Down,” director Jonathon Stack’s second film on Louisiana’s Angola Prison; “Interviews, 50 Cents,” a dual project by filmmaker Ethan Boehme and former NPR host Alex Chadwick; and, “History Making Farming Author — On the Move,” a film by director Matt Morris on sustainable farming. Telluride is also premiering “The Edge of Telluride” by James Kleinert on the San Juan Mountains epic winter of 2007-08 and those local skiers who took full advantage, including Josh Geetter, Kim Havell and Scott Kennett.
Mountainfilm kicks off Telluride’s summer festival season on Memorial Day weekend, May 22-25.
